Steep slopes & retaining walls

Highway grade separation and raised embankments need dependable lateral support. Park reinforced-soil systems combine engineered reinforcement with compacted fill and a choice of structural, stone or vegetated facings. The approach supports faster construction and makes efficient use of restricted highway corridors.

Embankment slope protection & erosion control

Rainfall and concentrated runoff can remove topsoil from exposed road slopes. Cellular confinement retains suitable local infill within a three-dimensional framework, supports vegetation and creates a stable protective surface without depending entirely on conventional stone pitching.

Pavement reinforcement

Geogrids or geocells positioned within pavement layers improve aggregate confinement and distribute wheel loads more effectively. The reinforcement strategy is developed around subgrade strength, traffic demand and available materials to control lateral movement and improve long-term road performance.

Embankment & ground improvement

Where highway embankments cross weak or variable soils, high-strength reinforcement spreads imposed pressure across a wider area. It can create a stable construction platform, support staged embankment work and form part of an engineered load-transfer system where concentrated equipment loads must also be managed.

Drainage management

Surface and subsurface water must be collected, filtered and discharged before it softens the road foundation. Park separation, filtration and drainage materials maintain defined flow paths, preserve subgrade strength and protect pavement edges, shoulders and embankment slopes.
